I was recently there for Barrilicious Jan 21-Feb.6th , My wife and I had a wonderful meals very affordabl. fair amount of parking, as we were from outside the hotel ( Monte Carlo Inn Barrie) appetizers were tasty and mains , Steak and the Cod were delicious, We each had one of each dessert offered Lemon Shortcake and Flourless chocolate Cake both were good. Wine Menu is not larger but then again this restaurant is not larger it seats about 50 people and attached to a hotel , the owners said they were tight on storage space so they change up the wine menu regularly he said to keep it interesting . In tough economic times many places are scaling back especially their inventories , we are headed back for Easter weekend to Barrie. The style of cuisine is more european feeling I would say. A sling hmm I would be more refined to have a cosmo or martini.

Italian? Are you kidding me? As far as a wine bar goes, they have no selection to speak of. So I ordered a Singapore Sling, which provided the best food of the meal, the maraschino cherry. The

I have dined at both of these restaurants and they are not alike at all, Whats the big deal if the staff were at one location then another, it happens all the time in the hotel and restaurant business . So there may be simular items what restaurant does not, come come lets be realistic. I dined there Saturday, with my family for early dinner and had a light dinner of pasta alferedo and the wife had the shrimp pasta very delicious , the grandkids had a burger . well I certainly will be going back the prices were affordable.

To the Primavera, the Ristorante is only less than 50% iitalian with the remainder mediteranian and international, You must have had a room that did not have a room service menu in it however if you wanted the full menu then you need to visit the quaint dining room and as for the food well we enjoyed the simplistic point of view the chef takes, for 3.95 how many peices of garlic bread do you expect? we have gone there each time and had a wonderful and filling meal as a couple and with friends.

This place should be ashamed to give itself an Italian name.

The service was excellent don't get me wrong.

But if you order garlic bread, it should really be more then a few slices of white wonder bread and garlic spread.

Also here's an idea, put your menu in the rooms of the hotel. This allows guests to view what you have before hand. Hey, for giggles, even post your specials outside the entrance to the restaurant.

Your staff/servers are very pleasant, bring the food up to par with what should be real Italian cuisine and you just might have a winner.

We went there for a small group rehersal party we had children and it was fine we asked about High chairs however if you see the space you can clearly see that the space is not large enough to accomadate this. reguardless the prices are not that expensive Lunch From 9.99 and Dinner from 14.00to 26.00
simplistic but tasty, easy to understand, drink Prices are comparable to any where in Barrie. We will be retuning

foods over priced and the drinks are more ice then pop. Refills cost, there are no high chairs, no kids menu no variety. I ordered Garlic bread with cheese, three pieces of bread looked like they were toasted with garlic spread. my kids got chicken fingers, which were 4 puny strips the size of fries and it didn't even come with fries. Me and my husband wont go back thats for sure.
